To continue thinking about art from different perspectives, appeal to innovation, to get out of the comfort zone. A space is a proposal, an alterable space is a challenge. Start by choosing time as the star material, allowing mutation, encouraging the chance of imperfection in what will come next. «Últimas revelaciones» (Last revelations) is a space of games and possibilities. Two artists who do not know each other, Marcos and Luciana, are summoned to do whatever they want. Both work with time and surface but with a fundamental difference, while in Marcos it is that surface that mutates, in Luciana it is the interior. The room is suggested as a stage, a space for experimentation and absolute realization. Thus the artists work together and separately, creating a dramatic, destabilizing and precious universe. Black invades transforming light into a luxury, while prisms, metal, crystals and universes appear. Contemporary art self-praises itself of being conceptual without forgetting the object and in this room one can evidence that feeling of art of our days. The search for beauty does not cease nor does the search for a message and finding one within. Each work is crossed by both artists, the creator and the one who accompanies and is soaked in the process of the other, because Marcos and Luciana accept the challenge of working together, of crafting two by two, moving away from the confinement of the workshop or the laboratory. This way an added value is created thanks to what they share with each other, the material and conceptual back and forth that completes the cycle. Luciana expresses these concepts through a historical icon of Western art that she takes and reinterprets. That face that hangs imposingly in the middle of the room speaks of how each generation is modified through the years and how we understand things as we grow and evolve. The mask hides many things but it also uncovers others and helps us understand that nothing is what it seems and that no one escapes from the transformation that is generated with the passing of time. Marcos, on the other hand, does it by challenging nature and rescuing an extraordinary quality of a material that we do not usually associate with art. The torso imposes itself like a venerated idol, which in the hands of the unpredictable chemical reaction, patiently awaits its complete metamorphosis. The end result will be uncertain and wonderful. While Marcos looks for an image to express his interior, Luciana inquires about what is behind the surface, digging into what is not seen. Both study the first layer and what lies within, seeking to reach a level of sincerity with themselves and addressing what is uncomfortable for them in order to cross boundaries. Beauty, art and creation are recognized in decomposition, in what is undervalued or discarded, such as fantasy jewels or a rotten banana, and in the wow factor that allows us to amaze ourselves when these two artists join forces and accept the bet to invade space, discover the world in a poetic way and cause a revolution.
